Conclusion.
This book discusses Paphiopedilum, genus and species (60 species + 14 varieties), as known at the date of publication (1987): 60 species incl. 14 varieties.
At the date of publication this monograph was the standard for the Genus Paphiopedilum and it is still an interesting reference to the genus Paphiopedilum.

Deze monografie behandelt het geslacht Paphiopedilum en de soorten binnen dit geslacht (60species + 14 variëteiten) die gekend waren op datum van het verschijnen van dit boek. Toen was deze monografie de standaard voor het geslacht Paphiopedilum en ze is nog steeds een interessante referentie over dit geslacht.
